Clinic RN PRN Rate: $15 - $18/hour *depends on experience level
Clinic LPN Rate: $14/hour

Education/Experience: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; knowledge of general nursing theory and practice required. Knowledge of principles, methods and techniques involved in performing general nursing services and adapting or modifying standards of nursing practices for care of specific medical cases; familiarity with organization, functions, policies, regulations and procedures of the medical center as they relate to nursing services.
Certificates and Licenses: Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Kansas or has work permit from the State Board of Nursing; BLS certification required or must complete BLS certification with in the first two weeks of employment; and additional certification may be required for certain patient care settings or populations. Specific information and the timeframe in which such certification must be attained will be provided by the department director/manager/supervisor at time of hire/transfer into department.
Schedule Availability: Ability to work Monday through Friday with the possibility of working more than an eight (8) hour work day; may float to other clinics as per physician practice administration floating policy.
Clinic Registered Nurse : Under the supervision of the clinic management, the Registered Nurse, a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current registered nurse license assumes responsibility and accountability for the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation needed to deliver safe, evidence based care; uses good communication and customer service skills; uses professional and ethical judgment and behaviors, utilizes critical thinking when performing their duties; uses equipment, materials, and systems according to policies, procedures, and practice standards; and participates as a member of the interdisciplinary team working toward the mission, vision, and goals of Hays Medical Center
