Mission and Culture Vision: Associate is expected to support the mission and culture vision of Hays Medical Center by exemplifying teamwork and fun as the core of how we work; honesty and loyalty to one another and the organization; patients at the center of all we do; and pride in a job well done
Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; previous rehabilitation and clerical experience preferred; knowledge of basic computer operations; knowledge of general rehabilitation aide functions and familiarity with organization, functions, policies, regulations and procedures of the medical center as they relate to rehabilitation services.
Certificates and Licenses: BLS certification, AED and basic first aid training required or must complete with in the first two weeks of employment; and additional certification may be required for certain patient care settings or populations. Specific information and the timeframe in which such certification must be attained will be provided by the department director/manager/supervisor at time of hire/transfer into department.
Schedule Availability: Monday through Friday variable hours
Rehab Aide/Clerical Support : Under the supervision of the department management, the rehab aide/clerical support is responsible and accountable for aiding in and preparing for treatment needed to deliver safe, evidence based care under direct supervision; provides clerical support and uses good communication and customer service skills; uses professional and ethical judgment and behaviors, utilizes critical thinking when performing their duties; uses equipment, materials, and systems according to policies, procedures, and practice standards; and participates as a member of the interdisciplinary team working toward the mission, vision, and goals of Hays Medical Center.
